Happy Thanksgiving

Justin, Riley and I were so lucky to have Mimi and my brother Chris join us for Thanksgiving.  They drove two days to get here, stopping with my Aunt Elaine in Rochester, New York for the first night.  We had a great time hanging out together at the mall, treating Chris to some real shopping, Chicago style.

We set out to put together a feast for our family.  We had ham, sweet potato dumplings with red-eye gravy, brusslesprouts with bacon, spinach and filo, lemon-lime tart (my favorite dessert in the whole world) and cherry pie.  The spread was fabulous, and we had a joyous time.
