First Trip to the Zoo

On a beautiful summer day in July we headed out to enjoy the Brookfield Zoo with our good friends, the Kinks.  Maggie, Bill and Lenna were in good spirits as we toured the great bear and wolf wilderness.  I have a particular affinity for wolves, and so could not pass up the opportunity to take these pictures:

Riley - Week 3

Riley is thriving and gaining weight rapidly. He looks so much like his dad but still has mom's hands.  So far he is sleeping really well and is a very low key baby. Here are some more pictures of our little man.

August 5th marks Justin's 30th birthday  and wer are having a party to celebrate on the 4th. We can show off our son and our new kitchen to all our guests.  After that, mom and Laura will visit on their way down to Arizona, where my sister will attend college.

Toward the end of August Justin and I are planning on taking a trip up to Minnesota to visit friends and family. Can't wait to see everyone, though I have no idea how the car trip will go. Besides that, the summer is empty but full of possibilities.
