Kitchen Remodel

Kevin and Pam came over last week to help us take down the cabinets that cut our kitchen in half.  The once clean baby's room is now full of lost equipment that has no home.  Even so, the room is so much bigger without the visual barrier from one side to the other.

Our task this coming weekend is to stain the two pantry-like cabinets we purchased at the Home Depot to match our existing cabinets, and to shop for a new car.  We had a friend of a friend come over to look at our floor and give us a quote to tile the whole thing.  FINALLY!  The last smidgen of despised carpet and the horrible white linoleum will be gone from our house forever!

Once we have the tile down and the cabinets stained, it will be only a matter of time before the entire Kitchen is primed, painted and a completely different room.

Just in time to store all of those baby bottles we had absolutely no room for!

Today is 30 Weeks!

It is hard to believe that we are more than halfway through this journey called pregnancy!  Today marks 30 weeks, with only 10 to go until my due date of June 16th, 2012.  Over this past weekend Justin and I started setting up the nursery, assembled the crib and organized all of our gifts.

Here are a couple of pictures of me during the first weeks of February, when Justin and I were in Hawaii and I was 24 weeks pregnant.  More pictures to come soon of the nursery all decked out for our baby boy!
